What is your cancellation policy?

14 days prior
48 hours after booking
For a full refund of the nightly rate, cancellation must be made at least 14 full days prior to listing’s local check-in time (or 3:00 PM if not specified) on the day of check-in.

7 days prior
For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, cancellation must be made 7 full days prior to listing’s local check in time (or 3:00 PM if not specified) on the day of check in, otherwise no refund. For example, if check-in is on Friday, cancel by Friday of the previous week before check in time.

Check in
If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.

Tours & Rentals

What should we bring on a tour?

Dressing for the weather is most important. Bring a hat, sunglasses, clothes you do not mind getting wet and a water bottle. Water shoes are advisable, as is sunscreen.

What is best for me, tour or rental?

Although Ganges is protected from most extreme weather and current, there are still many hazards within the harbour which, if you are not familiar with them, can pose a risk. The tidal exchange here on the west coast is quite large, occasionally as much as 14 vertical feet in just half a day, and tides such as those will create currents which will effect your paddling speed. All of our guides have spent many years in these waters and know them better than their own faces, as many of them go months without looking in a mirror. However, if you are a more free spirited being and have experience on the water, then maybe a rental is the decision for you. With a rental you can venture wherever you like inside the harbour, the only restriction being the amount of time you have to explore. Our guides all know the names and stories of the islands around Ganges, which makes for an interesting adventure.

Do you provide gear?

Yes, we do provide paddles, personal flotation devices, paddle floats, tow lines, pumps and cockpit skirts.

Online Store - Ordering

What do you do with my email/name/password when I create an account?

Keeping your personal information private is very important to us. When you create an account on or sign up to our email newsletter, we do ask you for your first and last name, your e-mail address, a password. We store this information on a secure server and it is used to shorten your login process. The only time a third-party would ever see this information is when they are performing functions on our behalf, like our website host, email platform, and credit card payment processing. How do I use my promo code?

You can apply your promo code in your shopping cart where the box asks for your ‘Coupon Code’. Enter it in the box and click apply.

Can I use more than one promo code?

No. The code you were provided is not able to be used in conjunction with any other offers.

What type of payment do you accept?

We accept the following methods of payment: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Paypal. Orders are subject to review. Your purchase from BEACHSiDE will show on your Credit Card statement as BEACHSiDE.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Orders are processed and shipped as soon as possible so please contact us immediately after placing your order if you have changed your mind. If we can catch your order before it goes to our warehouse, we may be able to change or cancel it.


What happens if a product is out of stock?

If you placed an order on an item and didn’t receive it and there is a zero amount on your invoice next to that item, you weren’t charged for it. At this time we don’t send out backorders and you will need to reorder once the item becomes available again on our eStore (It will show as available on the product page).

How do I get free shipping?

We offer free shipping on all orders over $75 in Canada and $100 in the United States (after all discounts and promotions are applied), with the exception of very large items such as Paddle Boards and Kayaks.

What courier do you use?

We ship via Canada Post, and for Express Shipments we use FedEx Express

Does BEACHSiDE ship Internationally?

At this time we ship to the USA and Canada only. We don’t offer international shipping.

Do you ship to PO boxes or military addresses?

At this time we are unable to ship any PO boxes or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is shipped from our warehouse, we will email you with a shipping confirmation and tracking number link which you can follow.


My item arrived damaged, what do I do?

Please email with your name, phone number, picture of the product and order confirmation number and we’d be happy to send out a replacement to you (shipping and handling on us!)
