Superstar Krishna who is considered one of the legendary actors in the Telugu film industry on Tuesday completed a Golden Jubilee. Krishna’s debut movie, ‘Thene Manusulu’ released on 31st March, 1995 which went on to become a successful movie.

In a career spanning 50 years, Krishna acted in 354 movies and has donned the hat of a director and producer numerous times.

Always known as a producer’s actor, Krishna introduced various path breaking technologies on Telugu screen including first Eastman Color film (Eenadu), First ever Cowboy film (Mosagallaku Mosagadu), first Cinema scope film (Alluri Sitharama Raju) and first 70mm film (Simhasanam).

For his contribution to Telugu film industry, Krishna was awarded the Padma Bhushan award, the country’s third highest civilian honour in 2009. His legacy is now being succeeded by his son Mahesh Babu who has maintained the superstar status throughout.
